If you are interested in seeing a real example of an MPC555 based simulator, please take a look at how we used it in our recently completed NASA research project.  If you follow the link to NASA's SARP Results web site you may download all of the project documentation we created for this effort along with two VSIL simulators we developed for our research.  One of them incorporates an MPC555 running compiled C object code as a system controller.
